A same-character class-change procedure in Dimraeth is not verified by the material available for this guide. Do not treat a skill reset, a new spellbook or creating another character as proof that an existing hero can switch from one class to another. The opposite claim—that class change is definitely impossible—is also not established here.
You can compare different classes by creating a separate character. That is a different operation with a different result: another hero, rather than a verified change to the original hero's class.
Dimraeth class changes and similar-looking actions
| Action | What it changes | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Create another character | A new race–class choice for another hero | Same-character class conversion |
| Learn a universal spellbook | Available spells, subject to requirements | Ownership of another class's whole tree |
| Reassign an active spell | The action in a loadout slot | A new class identity |
| Use a respec-related service | Whatever refund its actual description specifies | Automatic race or class change |

Race and class are separate choices in character creation. A creation screen does not prove that either choice can later be changed on the same hero.
Trying another class in an existing world
The recorded material shows a new character entering an existing world. That provides a way to understand the distinction between character selection and world selection. It does not prove that every part of the original hero's progression transfers to the new character.
Before using that approach, think of the new hero as a separate character. World services and story progress are not the same as the hero's individual levels, inventory and learned actions. Do not assume an established world turns a newly created hero into the original one with a different class.
Universal spells do not require a class-change explanation
A Brawler can obtain a world spellbook subject to its requirements. Seeing a physical-looking character use magic is therefore not evidence that the character changed class. Race, class, archetype and world spells can contribute different parts of one loadout.
The Dimraeth classes guide explains the three current classes. The Dimraeth race, class and archetype tree guide explains why shared spells do not make two trees identical.
Choose the initial class for the actions you intend to develop, without relying on an unverified later conversion. If a reset option appears, read exactly what it refunds rather than using the word respec as a substitute for a class-change rule.
